An adjustable workbench such as our WB series workbench is extremely ergonomic, based on our concept of simple height adjustability and the availability of an extensive range of ergonomic accessories. Simple height adjustability at the press of a button or by turning a hand crank allows an operator to alternate between seated and standing working positions quickly. The range of accessories available for this ergonomic workbench reduces unnecessary movements by the operator when working at it and allows them to work in a more comfortable environment. The adjustable workbench can easily be adapted to various applications in production, assembly, repair, test, technical laboratories and R&D areas. It is also a suitable worktable for administration in various technical environments.

Adjustable Workbench Features

Height Adjustability

What makes our WB adjustable workbench special is its simple height adjustment feature on a sliding scale. There are three ways to adjust the worktop height between 700mm and 1100mm. The first option is motorized adjustment by pressing an up-down button. It takes no more than 19 seconds to raise the work surface from the lowest point to the highest point. The second option is by turning a hand crank that hides away under the workbench once the desired height has been set. The third option is by allen key. All it requires is simply loosening eight bolts, setting the height and tightening them up again.

Ergonomic accessories

An important feature of our ergonomic workbench is the range of accessories available. With them it is possible to reduce unnecessary movement by the operator even further when working at the workbench. They also improve the ergonomics of the environment by allowing better lighting and personal space for the operator.

Extendable

WB workbench can be a standalone bench but can also have extensions attached to it. There are two types of extensions available. One extension type is a side worktop (ST). Side worktops extend the length of a work surface up to 400mm on both sides and thus allow more working space within easy reach of the operator. Another extension type is a corner workbench (CT) that allows the creation of a U shaped (horse shoe) or L shaped layouts thus creating even more workspace for an operator than with an ST extension.

Durable

Our adjustable workbenches can take weight loads of up to 250 kg and can withstand years of tough use. This kind of durability is achieved by using 25 mm thick laminated particle board with ABS finished edges as a worktop, and a frame made of 1.5-2.0 mm thick square steel tube with epoxy powder finish.

Accessories For Adjustable Workbench WB

It is possible to add a variety of accessories to every WB adjustable workbench.

Electric trunking (TJK) gives an operator power sockets within easy reach, and metal drawer cabinets (ML) provide the ability to store components, tools and documents. Keyboard holder (NT500) and CPU holder can hide bulky computer equipment under the workbench and out of the operator's way. Bin profile (BP) offers an opportunity to add shelf bins to store parts. An extra shelf (ALH) gives more space for items above the work surface. An adjustable shelf (ASH) allows tilting of a shelf towards an operator thus making items on it easier to reach. With a perforated panel (ARL) it is possible to attach hooks in front of the operator to hang tools on.

The operator can also place their tools and parts on a tray attached to a swivel arm (AKV), and keyboard on a keyboard shelf (WKA) mounted on a swivel arm. Both can be swung aside when not needed. A tool support bar (HSB) mounted above the worktop allows tools to be hung overhead within easy reach when needed. And an overhead light (OL254) and side lights (SL224) can improve the operator's work efficiency enormously.

Our WS range combines ergonomic design and easy height adjustment to provide a versatile and comfortable workstation for either seated or standing operation. Modern design. Height adjustment of worktops by hydraulic electric motor, hydraulic retractable handle or Allen-key between 700…1200 mm. The adjustment system is based on a rigid, sliding aluminium frame, L-shaped for good leg room. Load capacity 150 kg u.d.l. per workstation. The adjustment system is manufactured from aluminium. Frames are of epoxy powder coated steel: light grey RAL 7035. The worktops are 26 mm ESD-laminate. Rounded corner buffers enhance industrial safety. Adjustable feet for fine levelling. Worktops are ESD-laminate. Earth via protective 1 megohm resistor. Static-dissipative accessories’ earthing cables connect to workstation's earthing point.

Standard Equipment:

The rear worktop can be tilted between 0…20°, and has a rear lip. Worktop is 26 mm ESD-laminate, 310 x 1060 mm. The upper shelf is also independently adjustable by allen key. 26 mm ESD-laminate, 310 x 900 mm. Tool support. Cable tidy between main and rear worktop.
